Make sure your legs are visible in time when the thermometer climbs back up!
After months of hiding in jeans and leggings, it’s time to get your legs back to daylight or sunlight. At the moment, the heat makes us really tired and we don’t have the chance to change the weather with lower temperatures.
Beautiful legs without hairs, smooth skin, slightly tanned skin shimmer… the beautician and your beauty centre will advise you perfectly this summer as well. It’s not just when it comes to cellulite that we stress ourselves. Even if we think of spider veins or varicose veins, sometimes a slight wave of desperation can strike us. Yes, and we don’t want heavy, tired and aching legs in summer at all.
Cheating allowed!
There are lots of (beauty) helpers to conjure up the illusion of perfect summer legs. To get closer to the ideal of slightly tanned skin, you can reach for self-tanners. Spider tears and unsightly veins can also be covered with some make-up or camouflage.
Power from outside
Some spend these hot days bathing in cold water, but others have to work. Air conditioners are not everywhere. Heavy, aching legs help to store them up in between, getting up every hour also makes things easier and the rescuing, cold compress with curd cheese in the evening helps to bring the day to a close.
With broom tears and varicose veins we feel relief with cold foot baths, preferably an acid-base bath. By the way: a vein treatment by your trusted doctor is better to start with cooler autumn temperatures.
Enough liquid, fruit and tomato extract bring us through the summer more easily.
Power from within
For smooth legs a lot of drinking is especially important (especially water!). Snack pineapple, grapefruit, strawberry or watermelon are also good. Another insider tip: tomato extract! This improves the flowability of the blood and supports the blood circulation. Stored water is washed out, blocked lymph recovers and we walk through the summer in a more buoyant way.
The positive effect occurs with the intake of 150 mg tomato extract (equivalent to about 6 sun-ripened tomatoes) and has even been confirmed by the European Food Safety Agency. Who thinks now already of buying kilos of tomatoes, that is reassured, this tomato extract can be used also in form of capsules concentrated. Here all ladies will cheer who have a food intolerance against tomatoes.
Remember that sweating is always accompanied by a loss of magnesium, potassium and calcium. We certainly don’t want calf cramps! Summer time is not party time for nothing.
The pine bark extract from the Bordeaux pine can also help us to work wonders for the well-being of beautiful legs. Pycnogenol, as pine bark extract is called, is an enormously powerful plant antioxidant. It particularly promotes microcirculation in the capillaries, i.e. down to the last cells of our skin, protects the walls of the blood vessels and supports blood circulation. This effect on our skin also opens up other exciting application possibilities, such as against psoriasis (more on this here).
A quotation to go with our summer legs:
“We do not recover in the course of time, but in the time in which we walk”.
For wonderful and healthy summer legs we recommend a lot of exercise, a summer-oriented diet with sufficient water supply and targeted use of minerals, fine leg care and support of the legs from inside and outside.
